“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” – Lao Tzu

Okay, so I’ll admit it. I’ve never really been one for photographing the moon…or any other kind of astrophotography. I think that’s what its called? Its nowhere near my specialty. Tonight I decided I was going to give my telephoto lens a little bit of work to do, grabbed my tripod and went out into the cold. Seriously spring, you can arrive ANY time. Its a cold twenty-seven degrees outside and I probably looked ridiculous outside in capri’s, ballerina slippers, a tshirt, hoodie, tripod and camera.

But…now I can say I’ve at least tried it. I don’t like it. But I tried it. I’ll stick to people, architecture, landscapes, and whatever else I can find. I’ll keep the night photography for people who find it interesting and don’t suffer from a tad bit of night blindness. But, damn…I do wish the moon had been showing more images of those beautiful craters.
